Google Fonts on Dashboards

A curated Google Fonts catalog is now available across all dashboards. Choose a typeface dashboard-wide or per-component — charts, text boxes, KPIs, and titles all respect it. A searchable font menu with previews, a Recent group, and the full A-Z catalog makes finding the right font quick.

Unified Toolbar & Per-Chart Filters

Analyze and Dashboard share a single always-on toolbar with a Fields | AI tab strip, replacing the old AI/Manual/View mode toggle. Each dashboard chart gets its own filter button — a funnel icon on the chart toolbar — for per-chart Value and Top-N filters that don't affect the rest of the dashboard.

Per-Measure Colors on Multi-Measure Charts

Bar and line charts with multiple measures and no color encoding now let you set an independent color for each measure. Color swatches appear per-measure in the color shelf popover, the format pane, and the dashboard visual-encoding popover — so each series gets its own color instead of sharing palette slot zero.

Self-Serve Password Reset

Users on email/password accounts can now reset their own password without contacting an admin. Click 'Forgot password' on the sign-in page, get a reset link by email, and set a new password. Admins can also trigger a reset from the admin panel for any user.

Google Sheets Auto-Refresh on Open

Opening a Google Sheets-backed analysis now silently refreshes the data in the background using a stale-while-revalidate pattern. The cached snapshot renders immediately while fresh data loads and charts update — no manual re-import needed.

Subtitles: Persistent, Dashboard-Editable & Styled

Chart subtitles now survive AI title regeneration, can be edited and styled directly on the dashboard canvas, and have their own style controls (font, size, color, weight) separate from the title.

Point Mark Shapes & Vertical Flip

Line, area, scatter, lollipop, and range bar charts now let you choose from eight mark shapes: circle, square, diamond, triangle, pentagon, star, plus, and cross. A vertical flip toggle inverts any shape. Existing charts keep the circular default.

Shape Creator: Vertex Rounding & Bug Fixes

The dashboard shape tool gets true corner rounding via SVG bezier fillets, fixes for ellipses, lines, and arrows that were rendering as empty boxes, and a richer properties panel that covers all shape types correctly.

Axis Tick Interval and Count Controls

Tick interval and tick count are now configurable for both X and Y axes directly in the format pane. Choose between 'place N ticks' and 'every N units' — and AI chat in Analyze and Dashboard can set both.

Shelf Color Changes Tracked in History

Color changes made from the shelf — palette selection, single-color picker, opacity — now appear in the Analysis History pane and are undoable with Cmd+Z. Previously these edits bypassed history entirely.

Clickable Measure Names Open Format Dialog

Measure names in the format pane are now clickable links that open the format dialog for that measure directly. A full sweep of the Values shelf brings format dialog access to chart types that previously had gaps.

Pie & Donut: Z→A Sort & Cleaner Sort Badge

Pie and donut charts gain a Z→A alphabetical sort option alongside A→Z and size-based sorts. The sort control moves to a compact badge in the top-right corner of the chart.

Diverging Bar: Shelf-Order Segments & Sort Controls

Segments, the legend, and tooltips on diverging bar charts now all follow the Values shelf order consistently. New sort asc/desc controls let you order rows by any segment's value.

Format Dialogs for Radial Series & Treemap Labels

Radial (pie/donut) charts now have a Series color encoding dialog on the Color shelf. Treemap charts get a Label format dialog. Both follow the shelf-label format dialog pattern established across other chart types.

SQL Preview in Multi-Table Import

The multi-table import preview now shows the resolved SQL for each table alongside the data preview, so you can confirm exactly what query will run before importing.

Snowflake: Key-Pair Auth Now the Default

New Snowflake connections default to key-pair authentication. Snowflake is deprecating single-factor password sign-in (new service users are already blocked; legacy accounts affected Aug–Oct 2026). A deprecation warning appears when password auth is selected.

Sign-In & Sign-Up Polish

The login and signup screens have a new look with the Golden brand identity. The Sign In button is now disabled until both fields are filled. The Google button updates to a dark style in dark mode. Auth screens always render in light mode for consistency.

Copy Button on Error Messages

Error messages in dialogs and toasts now have a one-click copy icon, so you can grab technical error text without fighting text-selection restrictions.

Members & Invitations Remove Instantly

Removing a workspace member or cancelling a pending invitation now takes effect immediately in the UI — no waiting for a server round-trip. The list also refreshes correctly after changes, which it previously failed to do.

Top-N filter not limiting dashboard chart data

Per-chart Top-N filters were being applied to the filter bar display but not to the underlying query, so chart data was still showing all rows. Queries now respect the Top-N limit.

Removing extra measures didn't restore the base chart type

On a multi-measure bar/line chart, removing measures down to one left the chart in a multi-measure rendering state. The chart now reverts to the correct single-measure base type automatically.

AI chat bar charts too narrow when colored by a dimension

Bar charts built by AI chat that include a color dimension were rendering with very narrow bars instead of full-width stacked segments. Bar widths are now correct.

Scatter legend colors didn't match mark colors

The legend swatches on scatter charts were showing different colors than the actual data points. Legend and marks now use the same color assignment.

Long column names overflowed chat suggestion pills

Action pills in the AI chat panel now clamp long column names with a tooltip showing the full name on hover, instead of overflowing outside the pill.

Duplicating an analysis returned an error

The Duplicate action on analyses was failing with a 400 error. Duplicated analyses now copy correctly and land in the right workspace folder.
